ANÁLISIS CUANTITATIVO DE RIESGOS (ACR)
It is a methodology that quantifies the expected probability of certain events, as well as the harmful consequences in terms of deaths or injuries. With this type of analysis, simulations of catastrophic breaks in tanks, and pipes, fires in the roofs of storage tanks, explosions of gas clouds, etc. From this study come safety recommendations for the surface installation under study.
Among them, the main ones are:
- Analysis of the Scope of Consequences.
- Simulation of catastrophic breaks in Storage tanks.
- Fire through the roof of the tank for everyone the products.
- Gas cloud explosion for gasoline
- Effects of radiation and toxic clouds.
- Release of all contents in 10 minutes through a hole in the tank wall.
- Liquid fire in the enclosure for all products
The results of the simulations are:
- Radiation profiles depend on the distance between tanks.
- Distances for a probability of fatality of 1%, 50%, 99%.
- The distance at which there may be destruction of plant equipment.
- Total risk contours on the layout.
- Representation of social risk for workers and third parties.
- Recommendations for improvements in cases where the criteria are not met.
- Recommendations regarding the location of fire fighting elements.
